Soundhunt presents the best in improvised music every last Sunday afternoon of the month, curated by Dominic Lash (double bass, guitar) and N.O. Moore (electric guitar). 

 

This month we are delighted to present the dynamic young Norwegian drummer Emil Karlsen ("an inherently ‘musical’ drummer whose playing has elicited comparisons with such greats as Elvin Jones, John Stevens and Rashied Ali" - Ian Mann (The Jazzmann)) and the innovative saxophonist Caroline Kraabel, winner of the 2021 Ivor Novello Award for Sound Art Composer. 

 

The first half of the concert will present the Karlsen/Lash and Kraabel/Moore duos, after which the musicians will come together as a quartet for the second half.
