Communal singing is one of the most accessible and uplifting ways to bring people together through music.
We are delighted to welcome back vocalist and musician Andi Hopgood to deliver a singing workshop for all abilities. Andi will lead you through some voice and rhythm warm ups, then guide you through learning a song. The groove-based harmonies will be taught by ear, so you don’t need any previous singing experience or an ability to read music - just enthusiasm and a willingness to try something new!
You can also catch the Cambridge Jazz Festival Choir busking on Nov 10 in the Grand Arcade Atrium from 13:00-16:00.
Andi Hopgood is a respected vocalist and musician, having graduated with an MMus in Jazz from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 2005. Her musical interests cross jazz, blues, pop, and soul, and she has a passion for improvisation.
